1 Inspiring Story – Abdul Wahab Al Islah Center

Abdul Wahab Al Islah Center – My name is Abdul Wahab, son of Sher Zaman, from Kas Koruna, District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We are two brothers and three sisters. My father fell ill with intestinal cancer and passed away on October 10, 2001, leaving us orphaned. My uncle tried everything to save him, even selling family jewelry, but destiny had other plans. His death caused a severe financial crisis, forcing my uncle to employ his children and my brothers, who were deprived of education.

I was only one and a half years old when my father died. Concerned for my future, my uncle consulted Maulana Fazlur Rahman Sahib, and on May 28, 2006, I was admitted to Al Islah Center, where my new journey began.

In the beginning, the memory of my family members like my sister, brother, and mother would haunt me. But I had to fulfill my promise of filling the while with ignorance that had so long been developed at home. The support that was given to me by my uncle in the initial year also ended as my uncle passed away on May 27, 2007, but gradually, the love of the institution did not let me feel the lack of my parents.

Primary Education at Abdul Wahab Al Islah Center

On May 28, 2006, I got admission to my first class in the institution and started my Madrasah. The institution fulfilled all my needs. I also passed my matriculation from the same institution along with Nazrah, Tajweed-e-Hifz-ul-Quran, so that I am blessed with the love of my sister, brother, and mother and be able to serve my mother. Although the teachers in the institution were unhappy about my leaving the institution, they were helpless. They let me leave, and I formally graduated from the institution. Abdul Wahab’s Vision and Initial Conditions at Home

My family was extremely poor financially, and continuing my education seemed impossible. To support my home, I began working at a clinic with a homeopathic doctor. But life tested me again when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Despite her treatment in major cities, she passed away on October 04, 2017, at Mardan Medical Complex. Watching her final moments was the hardest part of my life I lost the greatest blessing, my mother. Her illness lasted four months, while my father had struggled for four long years.

Even in this darkness, Abdul Wahab Al Islah Center gave me the strength to stay firm on my dreams. The training, love, and support from Abdul Wahab Al Islah Center kept my vision alive and helped me overcome the pain with patience and faith.

From Dream to Destiny: Abdul Wahab’s Journey at Al Islah Center

When I left home, I had a vision with me, but I was young, then. And the realization came when I was in class sixth. Competitions were started in our school. During a conversation in English with my classmate Haroon Shah, I talked about the future saying I would become a theologian and a doctor, (Insha Allah). In taking the vision forward, my respected teacher Mr. Wali Akbar collaborated hard with me and was also associated with the institution. To carry out the vision, I had to go through various stages. In medicine marketing, I traveled by bike to the hilly regions of Chitral, Dir, and remote areas of the province.

I got the DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medical System) degree after four years of challenging work and Alhamdulillah today I am a homeopathic doctor and a Hafiz of the Quran. Also read here Aurangzeb Asri success story.
